Fowler's Toad

One summer I had this cute toad hanging around in my front yard.  I would often find it on my front porch or on the stairs.  This one particular time it was darker than it normally was, which leads me to believe that it was getting ready to shed it's skin.  A lot of people don't know that toads shed their skin and it's quite an interesting process to watch.  They kind of hunch up in a ball and it looks like they are sweating.  Then the top layer of skin works loose and they use their hind feet to work the loose skin forward and it ends with them eating the shed skin.
